2017 Policies and Procedures: Please take a moment to review this document each season. It has alot of helpful information regarding what you can find on each boat, reservation rules, etc. 

Member and Student Waiver: This stays on file for subsequent courses & memberships, so you only have to sign it once. 

Cruising out of Marion: If you are a Cruising 35 or 40 member heading to Marion, please review this file.

Gift Certificates

Sailing instruction, memberships, and gear make fine gifts for all occasions. The BSC offers two gift certificate options:

Give a gift in any monetary amount and let the recipient choose how to use it.

Purchase a gift certificate for a specific course or membership.

Either way, you can choose to have a BSC Gift Certificate sent to you or directly to the recipient.

 

Monetary Gift
BSC Gift Certificates are available in any amount you specify towards the purchase of courses, private instruction, membership, charters, or BSC merchandise and foul weather gear.

 

Give a Course or Membership
You can give a Course, Membership, or Macro Program. Just call the office to make your purchase.

National Weather Service Boston 
The "Quick Glimpse at the Weather" map is helpful for finding out if there are any advisories issued. If you can figure out how to read the table, the "Recent Conditions > Observations" link gives the wind speed at Logan for the past 72 hours.

Buoy Observation 
Good site for finding out what's going on 16 miles east of Boston and other offshore locations. Includes wave heights. Check out the satellite wind map.

Maine Harbors 
Tide charts for the coast of New England as well as nautical links and book reviews.

US Coast Guard Navigation Center 
Has PDF versions of Local Notice to Mariners if you want to keep your charts updated. Also has GPS satellite status.
