This itinerary covers a lot of miles without much chance for a lunch stop, except underway at Stellwagen. Leave time to go ashore at the Misery Islands on either of the last two days.

Any of the Cape Ann harbors is a good alternative to Gloucester or Misery.

for a shorter cruise

Skipping Plymouth cuts a day and over 20 miles. For a 5 day trip, spend just one night on the North Shore.
