Advanced Sailing Instruction on the Boston Harbor

Olson 25s Gain the skills needed to explore local waters with confidence. You'll learn to handle a boat with auxiliary outboard motor, and the refined sailing techniques to get where you're going quickly and comfortably. Five sessions cover balance and sail shape, tuning, spinnaker handling, docking and anchoring under power, use of marine radio, and daytime coastal navigation.

An excellent preparation for the Racing course, Cruising course or Mid-Range Cruising membership. Taught on J-24s and Olson 25s.

Prerequisite: Learn to Sail or equivalent experience.

Optional Certification: US Sailing Basic Cruising or ASA Basic Coastal Cruising

Format
The Advanced Course is offered in 3 different formats - 5 Week Weekday, 5-Week Weekend, or Vacation Week.

Vacation Week
Classes meet for 1 week, Monday through Friday, from 10:30am to 4pm.
5 Week - Weekday
Classes meet 4:30-9pm one night per week for 5 weeks.
5 Week - Weekend AM
Classes meet for 5 consecutive weekends from 9am-1:30pm.
5 Week - Weekend PM
Classes meet for 5 consecutive weekends from 2:30pm to 7pm.
