For more than 40 seasons, the Boston Sailing Center has been a top rated adult sailing school and membership club located on Boston Harbor.

We have a 75 boat fleet and an annual member and student base in excess of 1000 customers per season.

Sailboat Cleaning Crew

Boston Sailing Center is a local sailing club looking for motivated individuals to join our boat detailing crew for the 2019 season. Daily responsibilities will include cleaning of our cruising sailboat fleet (24’-40'), assisting in boat preparation for extended cruising, and day to day upkeep of the fleet. Applicant must possess excellent organizational and communication skills. Sailing/sailboat system experience and knowledge is preferred but not required.

This is a full-time position, available April through October 2019. Free sailing lessons, boat use, and a social environment are just a few benefits of this position. We are located in the North End/Waterfront area, easily accessible by public transit. We are also accepting group hires if you and a friend would like to submit an application together.

Launch Driver

Boston Sailing Center is a local sailing club looking for motivated, responsible individuals to join our dock staff for the 2019 season. Duties include providing launch service for our members and students to and from our moored boats, as well as general boat maintenance work, including cleaning and simple repairs. We will provide training. Experience and knowledge of sailboats and or power boats is desired but not required.

This is a full or part-time position, available April through October 2019. Must be able to work some evenings and weekends. Office Staff + Marketing Team

We are looking for a bright, outgoing, friendly individual to help manage the daily operations of a busy sailing club during the summer. This position includes sales and marketing, office administration, and event planning for member and corporate events. Ideal candidate will have customer service and marketing experience, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to following through on projects. Sailing experience not required, but preferred.

This position is full time, April-October 2019, with the possibility of some continued employment during the off-season. Must be able to work evenings and weekends. We are located in the North End, easily accessible by public transportation.

Sailing Instructors

The Boston Sailing Center is currently seeking sailing instructors for the 2019 season. We have instructor openings for beginner, advanced, and cruising courses. The position includes teaching classroom and on-the-water sessions to adult students. Part-time, full-time and weekend positions are available.

Candidates should be reliable, motivated and possess good presentation skills. Advanced knowledge of keel boat sailing including spinnaker handling and navigation is required. ASA certification and Coast Guard License a plus.
