For more than 40 seasons, the Boston Sailing Center has been a top rated adult sailing school and membership club located on Boston Harbor.

We have a 75 boat fleet and an annual member and student base in excess of 1000 customers per season.

Sailing Instructors

The Boston Sailing Center is currently seeking sailing instructors. We have openings for beginner, advanced, and cruising instructors. The position includes teaching classroom and on-the-water sessions to adult students. Part-time, full-time and weekend positions are available.

Candidates should be reliable, motivated and possess good presentation skills. Advanced knowledge of keel boat sailing and navigation is required. ASA certification and Coast Guard License a plus.

Dock Staff

The BSC is seeking additional dock staff for the 2021 season to assist members and help maintain our fleet.

Tasks include:

  • Assisting members with docking
  • Cleaning boats and facilities
  • Preparing boats for member cruises
  • Launch driving
  • Basic sailboat repair
  • Assist with preparing the fleet for winter storage at the end of the season.

Sailing experience is preferred. This is a seasonal position

Marine Tech

We are seeking an experienced marine tech to join our team to help maintain our fleet of sailboats ranging in size from 23 to 41 feet.

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshooting and repair of cruising boat systems
  • Diesel engine maintenance and repair
  • End of season decommissioning
